11.12.2019
On December 11, at the Legends Park press-centre, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) and beer company Baltika.
RIHF president Vladislav Tretiak, first vice-president of the RIHF and national team general manager Roman Rotenberg and president of Baltika and acting vice-president of Carlsberg Group for Eastern Europe Lars Lemann all participated in the ceremony.
The parties exchanged souvenirs during the event.
"Today, the Russian Ice Hockey Federation has gained a new sponsor, stated Vladislav Tretiak. "This is a company which makes a large contribution to the development of sport in our country. We know Baltika well, and it's great that this company is returning to our ice hockey family. I am confident that our cooperation will help both parties achieve plenty of success."
"Ice hockey is a team game, in which it's only possible to achieve success by working together," noted Roman Rotenberg. "As a result, it's very important for us to have great partners not just on the ice, but off it too. We are very happy that Baltika supports our ice hockey, and that it chose the RIHF and the Russian national team as a long-term partner. This shows that the Red Machine brand is gathering pace, and that the national team is attracting the attention of strong companies."
"Our brand supported both professional and amateur sport in Russia, and ice hockey is one of the most popular sports in the country," remarked Lars Lemann. "For us, the partnership with the RIHF is an opportunity to get closer to ice hockey fans and support the athletes. Together with the RIHF, we want to help the Russian national team achieve success at important international competitions. We're happy that we have a chance to join this movement and share our emotions with the whole country."
