Vladislav Khromykh speaks about winning the 2019 Winter Universiade

Vladislav Khromykh, head coach of the Russian men's student national team, commented on the gold medal triumph at the 2019 Winter Universiade:

- Our first and last matches of the Winter Universiade took place against Slovakia. They have real team spirit, they're strong in defence and their goalkeeper was very solid. We wanted not to take penalties as they play really well on the powerplay. I want to thank my guys for giving 100% in every match, and at this competition, the facilities were of the highest order. Thank you to the Russian Ice Hockey Federation for trusting me with the task of leading the student national team, it's great that we managed to win the home Winter Universiade.
