Reaction after winning the 2019 Winter Universiade
12.03.2019
Russian men's student national team goalkeeper Nikita Bogdanov and forward Dmitry Kolgotin shared their opinions after winning the 2019 Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk.
Russian men's student national team goalkeeper Nikita Bogdanov:
- In professional ice hockey, I have played in three finals, and this is the first which I have won. A lot of people supported us! Did I get cold during the game? No. However, it is difficult when the opponents don't take many shots, and the score was close. I want to say thank you to Slovakia, they tried hard and it was difficult playing against them. It was a clean game and they did a great job.
Russian men's student national team forward Dmitry Kolgotin:
- In my opinion, both teams played well today, but the strongest side won. My goal? As they say, if you crash the net, you will score goals. I think it was my first attempt at goal in the match. Apart from the fact it took a while to travel here, everything as at the highest level. Thank you to the coaching staff for trusting in me. Slovakia deserve credit because they made things tough for us.
