In Saint Petersburg, Austria defeated Norway 3:1 at the 2018 ALROSA Cup.
Later on, the Russian Olympic team will take on Belarus at the Yubileyny Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 19:30 Moscow time and a live broadcast can be found on Russia Hockey's official YouTube account.
The tournament was given a revamp in 2017 thanks to ALROSA, the Russian Ice Hockey Federation's title sponsor.
Last year, the Russian Olympic team won the competition with Oleg Bratash working as head coach.
