- We finished the series on a high note: we won! Not everything worked out in the first game, and we should have won that too. Nevertheless, the main thing is that we won today and made ourselves and the fans happy. Yes, we have a young team, but we came here to win. We believed in each other.

Vladimir Galuzin, Russian national team forward:

- We defeated the Czechs because of our teamwork, and we played with commitment. We lacked a bit of quality of times, but we got the result down to our work. You have to use your quality in different situations, for example scoring in the most crucial moment. The guys displayed that today. It was a bit difficult to defend today, however we had to be patient and play on the counterattack. I have only positive impressions from these matches! We will go home in a great mood.
