Russia U16 win the 3x3 President's Sporting Club Cup!

In Minsk, where the President's Sporting Club Cup is continuing, the under 16 Russian national team won the 3x3 version of the competition.

The senior Russian women's national team, Belarus U18 and Kazakhstan U18 also participated in the event.

Klim Muravyov's hat-trick, backed up by further markers from Vyacheslav Rapakov and Pavel Martynchuk, ensured that our U16s comfortably defeated our women's side 5:0 in the semi-final stage.

They were joined in the final by the U18 Kazakhs, who managed to beat the Belarusians 2:0.

The final, which was held after Belarus had breezed past the Russian women's team 6:0 in the third place playoff, wasn't such a one-sided affair.

Nonetheless, thanks to excellent goals scored by Kirill Golovanov (2), Rapakov and Kirill Myatchin, our U16s claimed an impressive 4:1 triumph to hoist the trophy aloft!

The main competition will resume on Saturday, with Russia U16 set to face Kazakhstan U18.
