Vladislav Tretiak opened a student competition in Moscow

President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) Vladislav Tretiak spoke at the opening ceremony of the Rector's Cup of the Russian University of Medicine, which took place at the CSKA Arena in Moscow.

It's noteworthy that in medical universities, not only students but also research staff are actively involved in student ice hockey. Thus, a team of faculty members took part in the competition, including the director of the university and academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Igor Khatkov.

The RIHF pays special attention to the development of student ice ockey. The current season is already the seventh for the Student Hockey League, which was established by the RIHF and operates under its auspices.
