Happy New Year!

I would like to congratulate everyone with the start of 2025!

For the first time, the Russian national team saw out a year by playing at the SKA Arena, the world's largest ice hockey stadium. And, with more than 74,000 people attending the competition, our players won the Channel One Cup! Our team displayed an entertaining brand of ice hockey and managed to defeat every opponent at the tournament.

One of our main goals is to get children involved in ice hockey. For this purpose, we not only open new rinks, but also promote the sport. The Future Cup, launched in 2022, in which our best junior players compete, is held twice a year and is rapidly gaining popularity. Taking into account just how much our country loves ice hockey, our sport possesses special potential when it comes to promoting a healthy lifestyle.

The level of coaching and officiating is improving thanks to the Red Machine National Development Program. We're raising athletes who will be able to win World Championships and Olympic Games for Russia!

Nevertheless, while we're focusing on the future, we aren't forgetting about the past either. In 2024, we honoured the participants of the 1974 Super Series between Russia and Canada. During that competition, the whole world witnessed the huge amount of talent and potential which our nation has.
