Vladislav Tretiak visited Ulyanovsk

Vladislav Tretiak, the President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation, travelled to Ulyanovsk.

The trip took place on the International Day of University Sports. Initially, the best goalkeeper in the history of world ice hockey held a meeting with young players of the Simbirsk Hockey Club, with Tretiak attending a training session of the 10-year-old athletes and speaking to them about secrets of playing the sport.



Tretiak also opened the Student Hockey League Regions Cup tournament and gave a speech to the participants of the competition at its opening ceremony. Between the 20th and 22nd of September, teams from Ulyanovsk, Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan will determine the winner in the Volga Region zone. Before the start of the Regions Cup, agreements on the development of student ice hockey were signed between the Student Hockey League, the Ministry of Sport of the Ulyanovsk Region and the Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University.
