Liga Stavok project with Ilya Kovalchuk

In honour of the resumption of Ilya Kovalchuk’s professional playing career, Liga Stavok is launching a charity event in support of the Constellation of Good Foundation with the participation of the Olympic champion.

For each point recorded by Ilya during the 2023/2024 KHL regular season, Liga Stavok will transfer 100,000 rubles to the Constellation of Good Foundation. The funds raised will be used to construct an ice hockey rink for orphans in one of the Russian regions.

"Sport builds character, gives you new chances and opens up new opportunities," stated Kovalchuk. "The construction of ice hockey rinks for children is a noble cause. I am very happy that together with Liga Stavok, we can develop our favourite sport and raise new champions."

This is not the first time that Liga Stavok has carried out such a campaign. In 2022, at the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, China, almost 3 million rubles were raised for the construction of an ice hockey rink in the village of Martyush in the Sverdlovsk region thanks to goals scored by the Russian national team.
