A training camp for matches inspectors took place in Krasnogorsk

In Krasnogorsk, a training camp for match inspectors of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) took place between the 22nd and 25th of July.

During the studying process, the emphasis was applied on the issue of effective communication between inspectors and referees when competitions are being staged. Alexander Polyakov, the head of the refereeing centre for training and methodological work, informed the participants of the latest rule changes which have been put in place for the upcoming 2023/2024 campaign.

The inspectors discussed game situations and engaged in testing, following which they were given recommendations. They all successfully passed their tests with regard to the rule adjustments.

Russian, Belarusian and Kazakh inspectors participated in the event.
