Roman Rotenberg took part in the Hockey Sense meeting

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation's first vice-president Roman Rotenberg took part in the Hockey Sense meeting concerning youth ice hockey and the development of the game. The event took part in Toronto's Hall of Fame while the National Hockey League's board, NHL players' union and the Russian, Hungarian, Czech, Swedish and German ice hockey federations all participated. Also, famous ex NHL players such as Miroslav Satan and Teemu Selaane were present.

Matters such as the state of ice hockey, data of match analysis, long term development of professional players as well as young players and the popuarlization of ice hockey were discussed.

In his speech, the RIHF's first vice-president Roman Rotenberg spoke about developing ice hockey in Russia, the creation of a united training system for all national teams and the project to attract more young children to take up the sport.

Also, he spoke about the creation of a special register database which will store information for all players in the country from nine years upward.
