In Omsk, a"Sport is the Right Way to Live" event, which was focused on educating ice hockey coaches and specialists, reached its completion on September 14.

It was held at the Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sport. Two advanced training programs named "Modern Technologies for Training Ice Hockey Players at the Stage of Sporting Development" and "Modern Technologies for Training an Ice Hockey Sporting Reserve" were studied. At the expense of the federal budget, 50 coaches and specialists from seven regions of the Siberian Federal District participated: Novosibirsk Region, Irkutsk Region, Kemerovo Region, Omsk Region, the Altay Republic, Altay Kray and the Khakasiya Republic.

Over the course of three weeks, the participants took place in theory and practical study sessions. All material was created on the basis of the Red Machine National Development Program.

The Ministry of Sport and the Russian Ice Hockey Federation are developing the education process to ensure that coaches are highly qualified for their respective roles.

Dean of the Faculty of Added Education of the Siberian State University of Culture and Sport Olga Krivosheeva:

- Ice hockey is rapidly developing. Today, in order to be a qualified specialist, you must continue to become more knowledgable by studying successfully. In my opinion, the unique project set up by the Ministry of Sport and the Russian Ice Hockey Federation perfectly gives them this opportunity.
