In the 2019 IIHF World Championship quarter-final, the under 18 Russian national team comfortably defeated Belarus 6:0 to advance to the Last Four.

Ilya Nikolaev, Arseniy Gritsyuk, Daniil Gushchin, Rodion Amirov, Yegor Chinakhov and Yegor Spiridonov scored the goals to complete the triumph and send Russia through to the next round.
