2018 World Junior Championship. Russia - Denmark

In Canada, the under 20 Russian national team will play Denmark in the opening match of the 2019 World Junior Championship.

While this is Russia's first match at the competition, the Danes played yesterday, as they were thrashed 0:14 by the Canadian hosts in Vancouver.

The Russian players trained in these following lines:

Goalkeepers: Miftakhov, Kochetkov, Tarasov.
Whites: Samorukov, Rubinchik - Denisenko, Kravtsov, Kostin.
Blues: Alexeev, Romanov - Kovalenko, Shen, Starkov.
Reds: Il. Morozov, Zhuravlyov - Muranov, Galimov, Slepets.
Greens: Kalabushkin, Olshanskiy - Marchenko, Iv. Morozov, Podkolzin.
Blacks: Khovanov, Shashkov.

Canada, Switzerland and the Czech Republic are the remaining three teams in Group A, with all matches taking place in Vancouver. Over in Victoria, the USA, Sweden, Finland, Slovakia and Kazakhstan are participating in Group B.

Puck drop is scheduled for 00:00 Moscow time. The game will be broadcast on Match TV.
