International training camp in Novogorsk

The first international training camp under the auspices of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) has begun in Novogorsk.

Goalkeepers and defensemen of junior Russian national teams are participating in the camp, alongside players no older than 25 from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Iran and Serbia.

The goal of the program is to develop individual and team skills, exchange experiences and strengthen international cooperation in the field of training young ice hockey players.

The camp includes intensive ice training aimed at improving skating technique and hockey IQ. Furthermore, the program includes work in the gym with an emphasis on strength training and coordination.

The classes are conducted by experienced coaches from the RIHF. The participants can also expect theoretical classes with analysis of game situations, as well as a cultural program.

The camp will last until 31 May.
