Alexei Chistyakov is the new head coach of the women's national team
The Russian Ice Hockey Federation have confirmed the new head coach of the women's national team. Alexei Chistyakov, manager of HC Tornado Moscow Region, has been trusted with the post. The contract has been signed for one year.
Ex head coach Mikhail Chekanov, whose contract has run out, will now work as the RIHF's president advisor for women's ice hockey.
