Dynamo Balashikha have won the VHL

Beating Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk 4:0 in the VHL final series, HC Dynamo Balashikha have become the 2016/2017 VHL champions!

Next season, the Bratina Cup will be renamed the Vladimir Petrov Cup. 

Dynamo Balashikha goalkeeper Ivan Bocharov has been named the VHL playoffs most valuable player. He played in 19 matches, won 16 of them, earned a 95.1% saves percentage and tallied a goals against average of 1.57. Ivan picked up three shutouts.

With Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk being a Kazakh club, the Russian championship medalists have been confirmed as Dynamo (gold), Zauralye (silver) and Rubin Tyumen (bronze).
