Russian national team roster for May matches

The management group of the senior Russian national team has chosen the squad for upcoming games in May.

These following players have been picked:

Goalkeepers: Maxim Tretyak (Sochi), Dmitry Nikolaev (SKA), Vyacheslav Peksa (Ak Bars).

Defensemen: Yegor Bryutov (CSKA), Kirill Kirsanov, Nikita Sedov, Nikita Smirnov (all SKA), Daniil Misyul (Lokomotiv), Ilya Morozov (Sibir), Shakir Mukhamadullin (Salavat Yulaev), Yegor Savikov (Spartak), Sergei Telegin (Traktor), Makar Khabarov (Severstal).

Forwards: Danil Alalykin, Danil Bashkirov, Alexei Postozyorov (all Salavat Yulaev), Nikita Guslistov (Severstal), Maxim Kirileichenko, Yegor Kuzminov, Prokhor Poltapov (all CSKA), Maxim Krovyakov, Matvei Michkov, Kirill Tankov, Nikita Chibrikov (all SKA), Ilya Safonov (Ak Bars), Nikita Tertyshny (Traktor), Marat Khairullin (Neftekhimik).

Head coach: Sergei Zubov.
Coaches: Andrei Razin, Alexander Titov.
Goalkeeping coach: Andrei Komissarov.
Sporting director: Daniil Kupriyanov.
First president of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation: Roman Rotenberg.

The team will travel to Tula on April 30, where two friendly matches will be held against Belarus (May 1, 2). Our players will subsequently participate at a tournament in Saint Petersburg against the junior Russian national team and the senior Belarusian national team.
