Friendly match. Russia W - KRS Vanke Rays - 4:3 SO

In the second of two planned friendly matches, the senior Russian women's national team claimed a second consecutive triumph against WHL club KRS Vanke Rays, emerging victorious by a score of 4:3 after a penalty shootout in Stupino.

Russia opened up a two-goal lead through Veronika Korzhakova and Anna Shokhina. However, within the space of two minutes in the second stanza, Vanke Rays grabbed two markers to equalise at 2:2.

The third period started with Vanke Rays earning an advantage for the first time in the game. Nevertheless, with only 33 seconds remaining on the clock, Nina Pirogova equalised for the national team.

Landysh Falyakhova subsequently secured the victory for Russia by scoring the decisive penalty shot in the ensuing shootout.
