78 years since the birth of Gennady Tsygurov

April 15th marks the 78th anniversary of the birth of Gennady Tsygurov, a former ice hockey player and an honoured USSR coach.

During his successful career, Gennady coached the likes of Lada, Avangard Omsk, Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, Kristall Saratov, HC MVD, Neftekhimik and Saryarka.

Gennady sadly passed away on 14 December 2016 in Tolyatti.
