2019 World Championship. Russia - USA

On May 23, the senior Russian national team will play the USA in the quarter-final of the 2019 IIHF World Championship in Bratislava, Slovakia.
In the group phase, Russia won all seven matches, defeating Norway (5:2), Austria (5:0), the Czech Republic (3:0), Italy (10:0), Latvia (3:1), Switzerland (3:0) and Sweden (7:4) to earn first place in Group B.
Over in Group A, the Americans could only finish in fourth, losing to Slovakia (1:4) and Canada (0:3). Their victories came against France (7:1), Finland (3:2 OT), Great Britain (6:3), Denmark (7:1) and Germany (3:1).
Puck drop is scheduled for 17:15 Moscow time. Channel One will broadcast live in Russia.
