2018 World Championship. Russia - Belarus

On May 7, the senior Russian national team will take on Belarus in the third 2018 World Championship match in Denmark.
Russia have performed excellently so far, defeating France and Austria by a score on 7:0 in the opening two matches at the competition. Yesterday, goalkeeper Igor Shestyorkin made his World Championship debut in the third period against Austria, stopping all four shots he faced.
However, Belarus have endured a difficult tournament so far, losing 0:5 against the Swedes before dropping a disappointing 2:6 defeat to France. Alexander Pavlovich and Pavel Vorobey are the only Belarusian players to score at the World Championship.
During the competition, the Belarusians have found themselves shorthanded on nine occasions, conceding two goals on the penalty kill. Mikhail Karnaukhov is their starting goaltender.
Puck drop is scheduled for 17:15 Moscow time. Match TV will broadcast live in Russia.
