The Liga Stavok 3x3 Channel One Cup

On December 16, as a part of the 2022 Channel One Cup, the Liga Stavok 3x3 Channel One Cup will take place - the first international 3-on-3 ice hockey tournament.
It will be contested at the CSKA Arena and will start at 19:00 local time.
3-on-3 ice hockey is a new, rapidly evolving format of our sport which is supported by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) and has a real prospect of being included in the Olympic program for 2030.
Matches consist of three periods of seven minutes. In the event of a draw, a penalty shootout will be staged in order to determine a winner. If a violation occurs, a penalty shot is awarded instead of a powerplay. Icings aren't called and hits are prohibited.
Russia, Belarus, China and Kazakhstan will compete against each other at the tournament. As a consequence, Russia will become the first country in the world to organise an international 3-on-3 competition.
