In memory of Anatoly Firsov

Today on the 1st of February, famous and successful Soviet hockey player Anatoly Firsov would have turned 80 years old. Anatoly is indeed still one of the world's best forwards in history.

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation fondly remembers his achievements.

- Three-time Olympic champion

- Eight-time World Champion

- Three-time World Championship top scorer

- Nine-time USSR champion

- Played in 474 USSR championship matches, scoring 346 goals

- Five-time USSR Cup winner

- Six-time European Champions Cup champion 

- Included in the IIHF Hall of Fame
