The RIHF held a meeting with the sporting leaders of Bashkortostan

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) held a meeting with the sporting leaders of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Representatives of the Bashkir Ministry of Sport and the management of HC Ufa participated in the meeting. The main topic was the introduction of the Red Machine National Development Program in the republic.

HC Ufa representatives presented the results of the implementation of the Red Machine National Development Program during the 2021/2022 campaign.

Of particular interest is the experience of implementing methodological developments of the Red Machine National Development Program in rural areas of the region. Last season, more than 50 physical culture and sporting events of this nature were held. Representatives of Bashkortostan emphasised that the republic possesses all of the necessary scientific, educational, sporting and technological resources for the successful implementation of expanded programs.

Bashkortostan's experience in implementing the Ice Hockey Squad project with secondary school students was also interesting. The project involved conducting physical education lessons with elements of ice hockey for students between years one and four. According to the representatives of HC Ufa, they were inspired by the Red Machine - Ice Hockey at School project. Within the framework of this project, RIHF specialists have developed a specialised educational module, as well as providing material and technical support to educational institutions.

The Red Machine National Development Program for children between the ages of seven and 17 was developed by the RIHF with the support of general partner Nornickel.
