Vladislav Tretiak held a meeting with representatives of the Chechen government

As a part of his trip to Grozny, president of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) Vladislav Tretiak held a meeting with Muslin Khuchiev, the chairman of the government of the Republic of Chechnya. The parties discussed the development of ice hockey and other sports in the republic.

- People in Chechnya love sports, a lot of work is being done to build infrastructure for a healthy lifestyle. Together with Muslim Khuchiev, we toured several sporting facilities and discussed the development of mass and professional sports. In connection with the opening of a new ice rink, an urgent issue is the creation of a children's ice hockey school in Grozny. The RIHF always supports such initiatives and is ready to provide any assistance concerning the development of ice hockey in the region.
