The Russian Olympic (B) national team will play their second friendly match against Latvia in Riga.
Russia B confidently won the first game on Saturday, thrashing their Latvian hosts 5:0. Anton Burdasov scored the opening goal when clean through, before Ivan Telegin, Sergei Shumakov (2) and Anatoly Golyshev netted further markers. Goalkeeper Andrei Kareev picked up a shutout on his Russia debut.
Latvia's team is lagrely formed from the KHL, with plenty of Dinamo Riga players such as Miks Indrasis on their team. They will want to put on a better showing in this game in front of their home support.
Puck drop at the Arena Riga is scheduled for 17:00 Moscow time. Match-Igra will broadcast live in Russia:
