3x3 Russia Hockey Championship - Liga Stavok Cup. Day 2

Today, on June 13, the second day of the 3x3 Russia Hockey Championship - Liga Stavok Cup will take place.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

16 teams consisting of professional players from the NHL, KHL and VHL players are participating in the tournament across the three days.

A grand total of 64 matches will be staged. Eight teams will advance from the group stage to the knockout phase.

Three skaters and one goalkeeper can be on the ice for one team during games. Seven (five skaters and two goalkeepers) must be included in the line-up. Matches will consist of three periods lasting seven minutes each (actual playing time), with the breaks taking two minutes. If a game ends in a draw after three frames, a penalty shootout will be required to determine the winner. Matches are played without hits, icing calls and offsides. Penalty shots will be awarded when a foul is committed.
