The Russian and Belarusian Ice Hockey Federations have signed a memorandum of cooperation

On May 6, the Russian (RIHF) and Belarusian Ice Hockey Federations (BIHF) signed a memorandum of cooperation in Saint Petersburg.

The agreement was signed by RIHF president Vladislav Tretiak and BIHF chairman Alexander Bogdanovich.

As a part of the agreement, starting from the 2022/2023 campaign Belarusian teams will participate in Russian youth tournaments, and the Belarusian national team will compete in the Russian youth federal championship.

In addition, coaches will share their experiences on a more regular basis and their methods on training players. Seminars and other joint events will be organised.
