A signed jersey by Pavel Datsyuk for a young ice hockey player

As a part of the "Russia Hockey Makes Dreams Come True" project, Pavel Datsyuk signed a jersey for young ice hockey player Liza Lebedeva.

Liza, a 13-year-old players of the Snezhnie Barsy team, send a letter to the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) during her recovery from a serious injury. She received a compression fracture to the spine but, despite that huge setback, she was always full of determination to return to ice hockey.

The RIHF subsequently invited Liza to the friendly matches against Belarus in Tula on the 1st and 2nd of May. When inside the arena, she was surprised by Datsyuk, who came up to her and presented her with a signed jersey.

Furthermore, it also became known that Liza has already returned to the ice following her injury. The RIHF congratulates her with her achievement, wishing her luck, success and health for the future!
