Happy birthday, Vladislav Tretiak!
On the 25th of April, Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) president Vladislav Tretiak celebrates his birthday.
Vladislav has devoted his whole life to our favourite sport and is a three-time Olympic champion, a ten-time world champion and was crowned the best player of the 20th century by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).
As president of the RIHF, Vladislav has displayed true committment to ice hockey, and thanks to him, plenty of children around the country want to take to the ice. We wish Vladislav a very happy birthday, as well as health, happiness and more success!

- IIHF best player of the 20th century;
- First European player to be introduced into the NHL Hall of Fame in 1989;
- Member of the IIHF Hall of Fame since 1997;
- Honoured USSR Master of Sport (1971);
- 13-time winner of the USSR championship with HC CSKA Moscow, 1974 and 1976 silver medalist;
- 1969 and 1973 USSR Cup champion, finalist in 1976.
