Arseniy Gritsyuk speaks about the training camp in Novogorsk

On February 1, Team ROC completed its training cycle in Novogorsk.

In a training game, ROC-2 managed to defeat ROC-1 4:2 in regulation. There wasn't a single goal during a 3-on-3 overtime period, before a subsequent penalty shootout ended with ROC-2 winning 1:0.

ROC forward Arseniy Gritsyuk:

- We've been working very hard during our time in Novogorsk, it's felt like a second pre-season. I think that all of us will be fully ready for the Olympics. How will we play? Moving out from defence to attack! It's fantastic for me to be in a team with such fantastic players, I am trying to pick up a lot of new techniques while training with these guys. I'm learning a lot from them. On a daily basis, for around 20 or 30 minutes, we watch tactical videos and pay attention to the small details.

The isolation rules in China? Of course, this is a new experience for us all, but we have a great group and we're always speaking. Three things which I will certainly take with me except my ice hockey gear? My iPad, mask and a positive mindset!
