21.01.2022
Yegor Yakovlev, a defenseman for the senior Russian national team, spoke about his emotions from the training camp in Novogorsk which is taking place ahead of the 2022 Olympic Games:

- We wake up at eight in the morning, in the first days we underwent medical testing before we subsequently had breakfast and training in the gym. Later on, we had lunch, slept a bit, skated in the evening, had a massage, ate dinner and had a walk around. In the evening, we have a couple of free hours to speak with our families via video call. My family are supporting me, the main thing is that everyone is healthy.

- How often do you go outside here in the bubble?

- We have 30 minutes to walk outside per day in the evening. We all speak to each other and become cold in the process!

- You were given booklets concerning the tactics.

- Yes, it concerns our attacking, defensive and overall tactics for matches. We look at it in the evenings.
