2021 Channel One Cup. Sweden - Russia

Today, on December 16, the senior Russian national team will take on Sweden in the second match of the Channel One Cup in Moscow.
The tournament is the second stage of the 2021/2022 Euro Hockey Tour.
Yesterday, our players made the perfect start to the competition, defeating Canada 4:3 with Yegor Korshkov, Alexander Elesin, Nikita Nesterov and Vadim Shipachyov all scoring wonderful goals. Solid goaltender Ivan Fedotov stopped 28 of the 31 Canadian shots he faced throughout the 60 enthralling minutes.
This will be the Swedes' maiden game of the competition.
Puck-drop is scheduled for 18:30 local time at the CSKA Arena. Channel One will provide a live television broadcast in Russia, whereas you can follow text updates on our official Twitter account.
