The "Russia is a Sporting Power" forum, which took place in Kazan, Tatarstan, has reached its completion.

It was held between the 8th and 10th of September.

The Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan were the event's organisers. It was held in accordance with the order issued by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.

At the forum, there was a special RIHF stand, where the federation's main projects were presented. Furthermore, the stand was designed in the form of an ice rink, containing a puck shooting zone and an apparatus for virtual dribbling of the puck. Models of the arenas in Novosibirsk and Omsk, which are currently being constructed in preparation for the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship, were on display.
