16.09.2021
At the start of the new season, the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) and the Zapadny Ice Academy held an open day at the new Arktika Ice Palace.

The RIHF and the academy had previously signed a cooperation agreement at the beginning of the current season. The purpose of the agreement is to provide methodological support for the academy's sports training system. Furthermore, other projects are planned, for example the joint implementation of educational programs, scientific activities and social events.

RIHF specialists prepared a presentation of the Red Machine National Development Program and answered the questions of the students' parents. The discussion touched upon such topics as the distinctive features and characteristics of the program and its content for different age groups. The interaction between the RIHF and the academy was also discussed.

One of the main principles of the Red Machine National Development Program is a flexible approach to organising interaction with each ice hockey school and academy.

As master class for young players was hosted by RIHF specialists, with the emphasis being placed on mastering skating techniques.
