The 80th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Ragulin

Alexander Ragulin, who won the Olympic Games three times and the World Championship on 10 occasions, would have turned 80 years of age today.

His incredible tally of 22 gold medals at international competitions is indeed a record. Flowers were laid at his bust by the likes of Boris Mikhailov and Alexander Volchkov at CSKA Moscow's Alley of Glory in connection with the 80th anniversary of his birth.
