Swedish Hockey Games. Russia - Finland. A statistical look

The Russian national team analyses the statistics to emerge from the 3:2 victory against Finland in the first match of the Swedish Hockey Games in Malmo, the third stage of the 2020/2021 Euro Hockey Tour:
- For the first time in history, Russia have won seven Euro Hockey Tour matches in a row, a new tournament record;
- Defensemen Alexander Alexeev, Daniil Zhuravlyov, Sergei Zborovsky (one assist), Artyom Minulin (one goal), Daniil Misyul and Daniil Pylenkov and forwards Vladimir Butuzov (one goal), Nikolai Kovalenko (one assist), Maxim Sorkin, Ivan Chekhovich (one goal), Nikita Chibrikov and Sergei Shmelyov all made their debuts for the senior Russian national team;
- At the age of 17 years, 11 months and 26 days, teenage forward Nikita Chibrikov is the third player in history to make his debut for the senior Russian national team before turning 18, following in the footsteps of Vladislav Tretiak (17 years, 7 months, 8 days) and Alexander Ovechkin (17 years, 11 months, 15 days).
