In Sweden, the under 18 Russian women's national team continued their promising form at the Four Nations, comfortably defeating Japan 3:0.

Kristi Shashkina opened the scoring in the first period, before two goals from Elizaveta Shkalyova increased the advantage to three in the second.

Russia had beaten Slovakia by the same scoreline on Thursday.
