102 years since the birth of Anatoly Tarasov

The legendary Anatoly Tarasov, who won the Olympic Games in 1964, 1968 and 1972 as head coach of the senior USSR national team, would have turned 102 years of age today on December 10.
Anatoly, rightly regarded as the father of Russian ice hockey, also steered the Soviet Union to victory at the World Championship nine times between 1963 and 1971. He was deservedly inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 1997, the Russian Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Toronto Hall of Fame in 1974.
His legacy will forever live on!
