RIHF position concerning WADA’s recommendations

26.11.2019
The Russian Ice Hockey Federation has always advocated fair play; it supports and respects the anti-doping related decision of all international organizations.

Russian ice hockey players, including candidates for the Russian national teams, are being tested regularly. Doping tests are managed by the leading international laboratories accredited by WADA. More than 400 samples are taken annually, and this cooperation will be extended.

The RIHF works closely with the IIHF on anti-doping, organizing and conducting of international tournaments and many other matters. The RIHF and IIHF show common understanding of all topics related to the development of ice hockey.
