In the Last Four of the 2019 Hlinka/Gretzky Cup, the under 18 Russian national team defeated Finland 4:1, in turn qualifying for the final for the first time since 2009.
Alexander Pashin opened the scoring in the first period, before Juuso Maenpaa equalised for the Finns.
Nevertheless, Russia eventually pulled away in the third frame, as Dmitry Zlodeev and Alexander Pashin (2) all scored to complete an historic 4:1 triumph!
The final will take place at 18:00 Moscow time against Canada.
