Alexander Cherenkov has died

Former referee and Russian Ice Hockey Federation inspector, Alexander Cherenkov, has passed away on June 16 at the age of 53.

As a referee, Alexander took charge of around 600 matches at the top level, before joining the Russian Ice Hockey Federation as an inspector and training referees for the Moscow Ice Hockey Federation. He always participated in all referee training camps as he shared his wisdom.

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation extends its deepest condolences to Alexander's family and friends.
