Ilya Vorobyov: "I thank our goalkeeper for this bronze medal"

26.05.2019
Russian national team head coach Ilya Vorobyov spoke about the triumph in the 2019 IIHF World Championship bronze medal match:

- The game could have gone either way. Both teams were in a difficult position. Andrei Vasilevskiy played great. In this team, it was impossible for everyone to score 18 goals, and they all spent different time on the ice in comparison to club level. Thank you to the guys for competing with a positive mentality. We leave the competition with mixed feelings. We wanted more. We won nine out of 10 matches and I would like to thank our goalkeeper for this bronze medal.
