2013 Channel One Cup corporate image is designed

Designing corporate image of the Russian round of Euro Hockey Tour- - Channel One Cup that will be held 19-22 October in Sochi - is finished.

 

Snowman which is the main graphic element of the image hasn’t changed, but found new form, style that depicts idea of long-time heritage of Russian hockey and continuity of generations. It’s the first time corporate image has been performed in 3D format.

 

Head of the Marketing and Communications Department Elena Abubakirova: "Over the time of 46 years snowman has been our tournament invariable symbol. By designing new image of the Channel One Cup main character we pay tribute to "Izvestiya Price Cup”. We want to demonstrate importance of expressing our respect towards traditions, adapting them to nowadays reality. Hope that this character starts its own life!"

Ticket sales are set to start in the first half of November. The following games will be held within the framework of the 2013 Channel One Cup:
