In the quarter-final of the 2019 IIHF World Championship, the senior Russian national team gave a confident performance against Switzerland, claiming a 3:0 victory in Espoo, Finland.

Anna Shokhina, Elena Dergachyova and Alevtina Shtaryova hit the target to send Russia into the semi-finals, where they will play the United States of America.
