IIHF Council meeting was held

The President of Ice Hockey Federation of Russia Vladislav Tretyak speaks about IIHF Council meeting that was held November 25-27 in Zurich.
- We discussed lots of issues dedicated to 2014 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Belarus and 2018 Olympic Games in South Korea as well as some changes to IIHF Rule Book. The final decision on this question will be accepted on the Annual IIHF Congress in Belarus. Also, IIHF committees reported on their work results, including Athletes’ one.
2014 Olympic Games athletes declaring issue was also discussed on meeting. The IIHF council decided to discuss with National Hockey League and NHL Players’ Association issue on prolongation of declaring sportsmen to the tournament again.
