Reaction after beating Hungary at the 2019 Winter Universiade
07.03.2019
Russian men's student national team head coach Vladislav Khromykh, defenseman Nikita Kamalov and forward Ivan Larichev spoke after beating Hungary 8:0 at the 2019 Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk.
Russian men's student national team head coach Vladislav Khromykh:
- We failed to capitalise on our opportunities, but in training, we are working on this. The opponents gave us solid competition and their goalkeeper was strong. We will now prepare for the next match against the Czech Republic.
Russian men's student national team defenseman Nikita Kamalov:
- The Hungarians always fight, but we want to win every match. There's a great atmosphere in Krasnoyarsk and we're really enjoying playing here.
Russian men's student national team forward Ivan Larichev:
- If you don't have the right mentality for these matches, you can pay the price. We prepared well for the game. At the end of the match, I had a chance to score a hat trick, but I missed the target. Nevertheless, I'm pleased to score twice.
