Reaction after beating Slovakia at the 2019 Winter Universiade

Russian men's student national team forwards Igor Rudenkov and Egor Morozov shared their opinions on the victory against Slovakia at the 2019 Winter Universiade.

Russian men's student national team forward Igor Rudenkov:

- We started well, but after not being able to score a goal, we ended up conceding. I thought we had around 100 shots today, but eventually, we managed to score our goals. Slovakia? They impressed me, especially their goalkeeper. I want to say thank you to the fans here, I know that a lot of family members have travelled to Krasnoyarsk for this tournament.

- We failed to score at the start of the match. Instead of making passing plays all of the time, we needed to shoot more. Nevertheless, the first match at a competition is always difficult, but we came through it.
